It's nice sometimes to do something special  to oneself in a hospital, so I decided to put some make up one when my dear friend Lucretia came to visit me. Some of these photos are taken by her, some by myself.
The curls in my hair I got from having a french braid in my hair for the night, that's why one side is more curly than the other...what a shame.

I know I have so much school work to do, but I still decided that taking photos of myself would be more important. At least for a while. Plus I already know what I'm going to do in the school assignment, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Selfiemania: My normal day at hospital and my hair crisis

I'll start with my hair crisis. Well it's not exactly a crisis, it's just something that's been annoying me for a while now. I was able to cut my fringe here with some really crappy scissors and it turned out just about okay, it does not look good, but at least it's not hideous.
But I would so so so like to dye my hair green-blue, sort of mermaidlike hair, but I can't since I'm in a hospital and just can't do stuff like that. I'd have to bleach first and then use three different hair dyes to get what I want, and it would be such a mess that I think they'd charge me something for the cleaning.
And I am so not doing that.

But to my normal day at hospital:
I wake up around half past six, go and have a smoke.
Then I get some tea (I've refused breakfast 'cause I'm just not hungry that early).
Wait a while for something to happen, have another smoke, see my doctor at around 10:30.
 After that it's most like visitor's time. If no one is coming, I go for a relatively long walk around the hospital, upstairs and then cantine, smoke, downstairs, smoke, back to the ward.
Then it's already lunch time. That's when I actually do eat.
I get all kinds of meds through out the day, including heparin shots to my stomach (which is full of quite beautiful bruises at the moment).
I go for another walk, smoke, take some pain meds because of all the walking around and maybe have a nap.
Usually write some blog post in between some boring activity.
At three or four my dad comes, we go to the cantine, then I get my supper, and around sixish my dad leaves again. I always miss him when he leaves, but he has to go take care of Billie. I wish I could just have Billie here with me all the time.
Then I just wait around for the evening snack which for me is tea, ice cubes and some cheese. I love cheese.
I get my evening meds, and some sedatives, and wait for the ten o'clock when I get my last heparin shot and my sleeping pill. Oh and I do go have a smoke right before nine when the doors to the ward close.
I'm a real chimney here, but it calms me down, so no one has complained about it yet. I will stop smoking at some point, but definitely not now.

Last Sunday - a pleasant evening and long night

I've been really muddled here for the last days, I've been in way too much pain to use my computer. Now I've regained control of my right hand, so I can use both for writig, which is amazing.

But, even though my hemoglobin levels were at 67 (realy low), I wsa so happy and excited to see my good friend and fellow blogger Manette from Music and My Mind
She was here at the same time as my dad, and my dad really liked her and I do hope she wasn't too scared of my dad, haha.

It's really just a beautiful day to day, isn't it?

Correction: I was supposed to post this last week, so sorry about that.

The sunshine really makes up for the cool air, it snowed a bit today as well, and that was far from comfortable. Plus my dad took some photos of me, which was sweet, he usually refuses.
And I had my German midterm today which was awful, I suck at grammar....hope to get some patience to sit down and study at some point, too much laziness and not a long enough attention span to do that yet...

I ordered a few things on the weekend, and really can't wait to get them! Ordered two BMTH t-shirts, really really excited about them (way more excited than one should be about t-shirts) and a bunch of needles and piercing jewellery - I am so getting my septum and labret back! Just miss my piercings so so much. And my nose is definitely healed now, no lumps or anything, so doing another hole there shouldn't be a big problem.

Finally managed to take some pictures and hey here's my favourite items I shopped for these past months! Aren't they just awesome? It's so awesome going to the gym in these and flaunting your NERDINESS for everyone to see! Love 'em.

They were $50, no shipping, and a bit over 4€ as customs taxes.

Yesterday, I bought two lipsticks from KICKS in Helsinki. One black one and one two-tone one with a side that's golden and the other silver! It's so awesome and looks so dreadful on me. I doubt I'll use them much, but it is lovely having them. They're fun. Maybe for Halloween?

Just look how horrible the gold/silver one looks! I look completely dead and the green eyeshadow isn't helping! Rather fantastic, rather disgusting.

Also that's how much my hair has grown! It's almost to my shoulders! I can't wait for it to actually grow even longer.

Pink Photoshoot with Timo Otamo

I had a new photoshoot last Wednesday and here's some of the photos that were taken. More to come at a later date, but these are possibly my favourites since they were so much fun to shoot! I don't have the pink hair anymore, but I'm glad I did then, because these turned out better with them.

So, pink hair now

I ended up dyeing my hair yesterday and though the dye was a mix of Directions' Atlantic Blue and Rose Red, it ended up more pink than violet. I diluted the dye with some conditioner (or more like a lot of it) so it's a lot less intense than it would've been.
I still have some dye left, but I think I'll keep that till after my entrance exams - I have some in late April so I have to dye to blonde again at that point. Don't dare go to interviews with pink hair...
What do you guys think? Does it look good? How about what do you guys think about going to job interviews or school interviews with crazy hair? Would you do it or would you dilute your craziness to a "normal" level?
How about piercings? My stretches are up to an 8 mm, and going to 10 next week, I'm going to be wearing basic plugs and some ordinary hoops for the interviews, but what would you do?
