I've been really muddled here for the last days, I've been in way too much pain to use my computer. Now I've regained control of my right hand, so I can use both for writig, which is amazing.
But, even though my hemoglobin levels were at 67 (realy low), I wsa so happy and excited to see my good friend and fellow blogger Manette from Music and My Mind
She was here at the same time as my dad, and my dad really liked her and I do hope she wasn't too scared of my dad, haha.
I am so glad you have good friends to visit you. Your dad sounds like a great friend too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad about it too, I'd go insane otherwise. And yeah, my dad's amazing and he's so modest about it. Sure not everyone likes him, he's very temperamental, but all my friends are too so they get along great usually!
DeleteIt was reallyreallyreallynice visiting you, and your dad's brilliant – why would I be scared of him...? It was amazing having a real conversation with smart people, after visiting my grandparents where "social interaction" means "everyone has to listen to grandma while she falsely complains about how nobody ever visits". There's also a spoiler-free review of The Children of Húrin on my blog, in case you haven't spotted it yet :)
ReplyDeleteMy dad says you're unique in your opinion of him, but I agree with you :D he's brilliant!
DeleteHahaha that sounds like visiting my gran as well, plus the every once in a while occuring "I'm going to die soon" speech which ends in her explaining her funeral in detail.
Thank you, I really didn't spot it yet!
i love your haircolour ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you darling <3
