Compass Rose Tattoo Inspiration

I'm really thinking of getting tattoos on my shoulders and they'd be compass roses, because I hate having nonsymmetrical tattoos...anyway here's what's going to be my inspiration when I try and draw me a good compass rose I really like:

This one I'm afraid has no tutorial attached, but you can try to figure it out yourself. If you've been doing roses out of anything else over the years, you'll know how this works. I can do one myself, but I really  can't explain how I'm doing it, so no tutorial...sorry.
