I thought this kind of post was in order as I've gotten a few comments about my clear skin. I know most of you probably use some sort of products for your face from soaps to creams, and probably every day.
I have to now come clean and say I don't use anything.
At all.
I have soaps and cleansers and creams and I use none of them. I have cleansing towels for when I've worn make up, but other than that I don't wash my face, I don't cleanse it, I don't put cream on it except for after shower and maybe right before bed if it's feeling dryish. I also don't take a shower more often than once a week.
I do take care of personal hygiene - clean under my armpits and so on, but as we have hand showers in the toilets in Finland, I don't need a whole body shower every day. I also don't go to places or get sweaty most days, so there's no real dirt gathering. During the summer I do shower more often, but without soap.
I am really bohemian when it comes to this sort of thing. I believe in the natural flora of my skin, my good bacteria, doing their work well, and thus I don't think cleaning them off is a good idea. If I wash my face and my body too often, I can't easily go back. I prefer using as few products as possible and as seldom as possible. For me, this has worked. I don't get bad skin, and it's most of the times not too dry or too fatty, just ordinary.
Any comments? What do you guys do for your skin? Do you think it's disgusting that I don't wash and treat it that often?

My ridiculous amount of t-shirts
Need I say more? I still have an extra amount of tops both dark colours and other colours. They make this look tiny in comparison...I'm a real hoarder and I wear all of these from time to time!

Today to Tampere - again
So my journey of leaving my flat in Tampere continues, and this time with my dad. He's absolutely not happy about having to go alllll the way there and back, but he knows just as well as I do, that it has to be done at some point.
I still have all of my furniture there minus the one desk I could sell, so it's quite a load to get into our car. Thank goodness we have a relatively big car! Otherwise it wouldn't work at all!
There are a few things I need to get rid of, and those we're going to go give away at the Recycle Centre, so we don't have to bring them back to Sipoo with us without any plan of where to put them. The bookshelf and the shelf and my three chairs will be coming home with me though, and they're really bulky to get into the car so we'll see what happens...
I hope this trip goes well, and I don't need to feel quite this anxious after we've set off!

The Mess that is My Room
After having a few things "sorted" after bringing everything home from Tampere, my room looks like it's been hit by a hurricane. Not a big surprise, but still.
Here's my bedroom in its state right this instant:

Tampere - there and back again
So today was my second time cleaning out my flat in Tampere and moving aaaalll of my things back home with the help from my bf.
I haven't felt this exhausted in a long time, and I think tonight of all nights at least, I will sleep extremely well!
There's a lot of things I need to sort through and try and sell, but a lot of things I will keep and need to find places for them. It also doesn't help that tomorrow I'm taking my bf shopping to Itäkeskus (he hasn't been there in years!) and will probably find more stuff to place in my room.
Goodness gracious me.
Photos will follow on other days!

Tampere trip and OOTD #4
As I said in my earlier post, we went to Tampere with my bf/ex and tried cleaning out my apartment, well it's never all that simple, but we got a lot done and now it's just a matter of finding people to buy a few of my things and then getting them out of there. Also I have to go back with my dad and our bigger car for a few chairs and things. But a lot I through out and a lot a lot I brought home with me.
My entire room is filled with things now and I have to sort through all of them. With a fine toothed comb I might add, since my room doesn't fit all that many clothes that I brought home. Plus some I never wear anyways, might as well through them out to people who do want them!
I drove all the way there and back again and I was paralised for a few hundred miles haha. I'm really not used to driving. But it was fun, I'll tell you that much. Rain and no sunlight makes a good trip yeeeesss.
Here's a few pictures of today and my ginger hair, plus my outfit of the day: sleeping with sirens top and white trousers.

Going to Tampere
To clean out my apartment. I'm leaving Tampere hopefully for good, though I am sad about having to move out of that little apartment. I really liked living there, although it's really not home to me. My home is here in Sipoo, far away from my studies and thus I don't feel like keeping that place in Tampere if I'm not going to use it for the next half a year, or more. I also don't want to pay the rent.
My bf/ex is coming to pick me up at ten, but it's still a while away and I have so much I should do instead of writing this blog. I'm also going to be the one driving to Tampere so please wish me luck, I hate Ring III. I also hate the motorway between Helsinki and Lahti, and I have to use both roads if I want to get to Tampere in any sort of fast way. It's so annoying.
And I've never driven his car so I don't know how it works, and I'm really nervous.
Otherwise my morning has started off relatively well, I feel quite awake, though I shiver like mad (not from cold, since I feel quite warm) and I haven't done any of the chores I need to have done before ten am.
So I'll post something later on about my apartment, show you guys in what a state it was and how it looks after we're done with it!

Thoughts of the day - how to clean in an organised fashion?
1. I don't know.
I just pour everything out of everything on the floor and try to make it into something that's at least halfway organised. Now please, if any of you have any sort of tips on how to clean (and by clean I don't mean vacuuming, but organising) in a manner that does not involve a catastrophe zone in the room in which the cleaning is done, I would be very very happy to hear them.
Not kidding about the catastrophe zone.

Cleaning out my closet
Not really. Just my entire room. And my dad's room, since a lot of my stuff was still in there after we switched bedrooms. A lot of his stuff was in my room as well, so we took the entire evening into cleaning out both our closets, and trying to make the most of it even though my dad's neck is a pain in the neck (ha ha) and I'm sick with just common cold now on top of everything bloody else.
Anyway, I'm slightly starting to feel like my own room is my room really, and not just my parent's old bedroom. It's really coming to me now, and it feels really good.
I burnt a scented candle and some aromatic oils in there as well, and it smells so good. It's like an orangerie in there now, such a beautiful mixture of bergamot, rose and orchids, and I've put up some paintings and photos up on the walls and feel much more comfy in there now.
Oh and I found some really old photos and frames of my dad as a baby and my Swiss gran, and it's awesome, I get to keep all of them and put them on my walls! I'm so happy right now.
I also have a double mattress, as in two singles on top of each other, feels really weird 'cause the one on top is bigger than the one below!
But it's okay, 'cause tomorrow I should get my new bed, and then I can put both of them on there, the smaller one on top.
Mail came today for me, a few packages from the UK, one from Forever 21 with two shorts in it, and one from Osiris with loads of stuff in it, going to show you later both of them, but not today, not today. Also got a package from the US with Pusheen stuff in it, the cute lil' t-shirt with 'classy English gentelman Pusheen' on it and a little notepad, all from Hey Chickadee.
Now I'm going to go clean again, which is really weird, 'cause I hate cleaning...
