DIY Knitted Headband
So I've been knitting again while watching SG-Atlantis so I decided to knit another headband. I've already once knitted one, and I love it, so I wanted to see if I'll love this one too. It's a bit lighter than the previous one since the yarn is very thin, but I think it's still warm enough to keep my ears happy.
I knitted it without any patter with alternating 2 knit, 2 purl, with the first loop of the row lifted, not knitted.

Three Kings and Yesterday's Shopping
I would really like having a real three kings' day, but sadly tomorrow I have an MRI of my stomach, so I'm not allowed to eat anything today. Again. I am so hungry and the weirdo protein drinks made with water are really getting tiring (not even sure if I'm allowed to drink those), and yeah. Not a good day.
But yesterday was lovely, we had a great time shopping and driving around with my bf, and here's a few photos from today:

My Top Five Favourite Scifishows
1. Stargate SG-1
Fun, child friendly most of the time, more intelligent than a lot of military shows or scifishows.
2. Stargate Atlantis
Same reasons as the first, but also the better bad guys and the amount of humour that was added to the show. Not to mention I just love Zelenka and Todd.
3. Babylon 5
Very intelligent, very humorous but in an intellectual way, very witty, very political.
4. Farscape
Amazing creature design, best aliens out there. Storyline less good, but the monsters really make it.
5. Eureka
More sciency and less fictiony, but still amazing and amazingly funny. And so child friendly that I almost cry of joy when I don't have to see murder and sex all the bleeding time.

Today's DIY: Colouring in some ugly old shoes
I got these horrid shoes that I only wore once, and hated every second, but they still fit me, so I decided to upgrade them a bit and make them colourful:
