Now that the party is over...

...I don't really know what to do with myself. My throat hurts again, the lymph node is huge, and I can't do anything about it for more than three days. So yay.
I really don't feel festive, just tired now. Everything's done and nothing more to be done, and I'm supposed to give up sitting here and go lie down with my bf/ex, but I feel like being on the internet. I know he'd take it the wrong way, and I don't want to scare him off everytime he visits. I like it when he visits, he's the perfect gentleman and absolutely quiet most of the time. It's a pleasure just sitting near him not having to say a word, since he's a quiet sort of guy.

Anyway, I should go read a book with  him or something, so. Here's some snowflakes for y'all.

Fourth Day of Christmas: DIY Snowflakes

You know those annoying snowflakes you aaaalllways had to make in primary school? Get a piece of white paper and start cutting holes in it? And remember to not cut on that one side!
Anyway, they can be a lot  more fun than back in the day, and here's to show you why:

All you have to do is take the pattern and cut the paper using that pattern to get the shape you want. Now I'm not one for rules, so I usually go with the primary school style and just cut anything that looks nice (mostly stars and hearts), but this is the fancy way of doing it, and the prettier way, if I dare say so. Way over my skill level, but maybe one of you is better than me that regard!

Second Day of Christmas: Tulle and Snowflakes Wreath DIY

My second day of DIY Christmas ideas, this time a wreath made of tulle and glittery snowflakes. Now for this one there's no tutorial, but there's plenty of pictures (one I snapped from Pinterest) so you'll know what it's supposed to look like.
I'm going to give you a little hint how it may be possible to make:
You need a hell of a lot of tulle, at least three metres. And you need some band, preferable not elastic and preferable quite wide to connect the tulle to the band, so that it folds properly.
Then you need either ready glittery snowflakes, or snowflakes and glue and glitter (or just glitter glue). And there you are!
