Halloween in Aurora

Nothing special happened during Halloween here - same old same old. I had a CT scan which showed nothing out of the ordinary, I saw a psychiatric nurse and maybe will get some better anxiety meds, and I got to talk to a neurologist about my painkillers which he told them to up the doses (fantastic) and switch the oral liquid oxynorm to IM oksanest, which helps way more.

Went to a mass on Thursday qn got tto talk to a priest too, but I told her that since I'm converting to catholicism, I can always ask help from father M. But it was real sweet of her to come and I wouldn't mind talking to her again. She was lovely and chatting to her was really nice.

I've also bonded with my two roommates - both retired and Mar is the most awesome roommate, the other one is real sweet towards us, but is a huge racist. It's so annoying. She's so smart and still stupid enough to hate someone just cause their culture is different. I hope that with enough brainwashing from me and Mar, she'll better her ways a bitt. Plus she likes my dad though he's a foreigner.

I hope someone comes to give me those painkillers soon, already been 25 minutes since I asked. Oh well, hospitals right?

I just love these jars!

DIY Batman and Bleached Bermudas

I cut the very damaged sleeves off of my college jumper and bleached a Batman logo on the hood as you can see in the lowest photos. I also bleached my bermudas or shorts whatever, and made them look a bit hotter. They looked like they were on fire when I started bleaching them!

DIY Rorschach T-Shirt

Okay this is just my attempt, and it's not finished yet so be kind.

What you need is:
- a t-shirt or a top
- some cardboard that you can fold
- black paint or any colour paint you'd like your inkblot to be in

Take your cardboard and put it inside the shirt, put paint on the shirt and fold cardboard - tadaa you've got an inkblot. Kinda like  when you were a kid and you played around with paint on paper folding it with new colours. Basically the same idea here, just more mental and old.

Added a little water to make it more inky, it's darker now than when it'll be dry

Idea for this I got from this DIY video on Youtube:

Painting and glueing: DIY Cabochon Pendants

So here is a non-step-by-step intro to diying your own pendants. You can buy cabochons (the little glass thingies) and the pendant parts from etsy or similar sites. Then all you need is some paint or in this case nail polish and a hot glue gun. I suppose any heavy duty glue would do, so choose your own preference!

The many outfits for a band t-shirt

My Asking Alexandria t-shirt paired with jeggings from New Yorker, jeans from ONLY, a handmade lolita skirt and H&M faux leather shorts. Also my H&M knee high socks and my Irish lucky shamrock socks. Cardigans are from Ellos and KappAhl.

DIY Knitted Headband

So I've been knitting again while watching SG-Atlantis so I decided to knit another headband. I've already once knitted one, and I love it, so I wanted to see if I'll love this one too. It's a bit lighter than the previous one since the yarn is very thin, but I think it's still warm enough to keep my ears happy.

I knitted it without any patter with alternating 2 knit, 2 purl, with the first loop of the row lifted, not knitted.

Olen taas pitkästä aikaa neulonut, ja tällä kertaa hiusnauhan: 2 o, 2 n, rivin ensimmäinen nostetaan neulomatta.

DIY Lace tights into lace crop top!

First cut out the booty part of your tights, so you have none of the v-shaped part left.

This is how it looks like after cutting the v-shaped parts out!

Cut off the sock part of the both legs

Voila, you have a crop top!
